I am attaching a poster and the final's promotion letter for Annapolis, Maryland. They will explain what this competition is all about. Annapolis is in a distant third place after after the Northeast Regional semifinals, but is in ninth place overall in the USA semifinals. The top two towns in each of the seven USA regions will make it to the finals, but all is not lost because they will have six more towns qualify for the finals, twenty towns total.I feel that Annapolis got enough votes, second place runner up of the third place towns and will get a spot in the finals, so that is why I am trying to line up support prior to the start of the final voting. When and if Annapolis does make the finals, then we will need all the support that the Montgomery County community can give one day one of the voting. The final voting starts on Tuesday, May 10 at 12:00 pm and will continue until May 31 at 6:00 pm and Annapolis will need thousands of votes every day. You may vote up to four times a day at six hour increments at no cost and only takes about one minute to vote. If Annapolis were to win this contest it will be a great honor for our state capital, one of the oldest seaport cities in our nation and the award money will be donated to the Maryland Saltwater Sportfishing Association's Scholarship Foundation to help students who plan to seek careers in marine biology, forestry and enviromental studies that will help save the Chesapeake Bay, it's rivers and streams. Throw out a line and reel in some votes for Annapolis, Maryland to become the Ultimate Fishing Town USA. PLEASE GET ON-BOARD!
